Final day shooting the short suspense film: CONSUMED and I feel human. Totally new to acting and glad to accept the challenge. A long ass day starting at 4 am for hair and makeup until now, 3:47 pm, me laying in bed before I work at 5pm to close.
WHAT A LIFE TO LIVE. Breathe in the air, for which awakens the space within. Or something like that, I'm about to be in nap mode. Before my sleepy eyes reside I notice the tall grey curtains in the dim=lit room. These curtains pulse with the air flowing in and around the grey cloth. The wooden door follows the breeze. Luckily, it doesn't slam shut. A sleepy human placed an old pink shoe a'jar. Here's to seizing the moment.

Ironically, these photos were taken at Foster Beach by a friend named Jason Foster. The Full Moon Jam happens every month at Foster Beach in Chicago.
Fire dancers, and a crap ton more to enjoy. Also, met a cool dude with a poncho and two maracas. If you're reading this, hope your job interview went well. Sometimes ya gotta remind yourself what you're fucking good at. This can be done modestly and politely, depending on your audience. Here goes my spin.
Here's a few things I take pride in. 1. Connecting people, ideas, and imagination together 2. Making a choice everyday to seize the moment 3. Committing to openness and curiosity 4. Creating goals for the moment and the future 5. That's all I have for now 6. Thank you Bob Rossin' it back in October at NYCH Gallery's event: Paint, Mix, & Mingle. This was the day I started interning at the gallery.
I dig. It appears this message brings peace and rainbows to the inner ears of all listeners. Honored Julian: known as JXL in the rap world asked me to be apart of this video. He's taught me about an American cult leader, Jim Jones killing thousands with koolaid. Crazy stuff. Crazy history.
A fight between what to write, what to feel just to know what is real. My sister sits across from the light shared on the kitchen table. She just let one go and made the two of us laugh.
Still laughing while tapping the keys below these callused fingertips. So, this shark fight. This shark fight is a fucking metaphor for being productive. To be productive can mean finally getting the cheeto stain off your bed sheets. Or productive can mean folding socks. How fucking odd. As humans we fold material and call it being productive. To what service does reading this blog apply? Good question. Maybe to make the most out of the moments within the day. Find the space between thought and action allows for a shift. A shift begins with starting old or new ideas. Being productive starts with stretching ideas from within the mind and giving life to today's to-do list. The shark fight ends when you swim graciously with the sharks. Flow where you need to go. Just don't forget to fold those god-damn socks. Winding up the clock. There goes the bell, the mind pounced for the next spell of thought. Dogs bark and a silence blankets the town. Only the small buzz of humanity wires the community with sound.
And just like that an electric guitar makes a good morning sound. The yawning human behind the chords is sipping a magical cup of water. Water good for the soul. Good for every bone. Water could start a revolution considering the evolution of the world among the public eye. Water serves an immense vitality. Thanks to the traditional water mayor in the world of water. You rule. Grow old, just to do what to be told. Told who we have to be.
When in actuality, we free. We free ourselves from the world of working This is the result of listening to an immense amount of music. Earl grey tea is running through my blood stream. Caffeine powers up the human behind the keyboard. Relaxed thoughts with friends turns into more music indulgence. A ukulele tune soared through the air. Zoosh. There goes that. A sliced finger. One metal spatula. Steamed air. Layers are everywhere. Layers of skin on finger tips typing this blog. Layers of sweaters upon relaxed shoulders. And a layer of imagination swept across the brain. . Here's the story. Sliced, the left (guitar playing) finger tip of mine. Washing dishes led to a metal spatula slicing the tip of my finger. Blood was lost. Glory was gained. Which reminds me... Sliced, diced, and layers of authentic events happening in the Chicago area- A Friday the 13th plan. Here. Weezer strums a fucking good beat. They don't care to break into a new genre. They don't give a hoot about what you think. Or who knows, maybe they do. And the crowd goes wild. |
