Second year in a row I break a pair of black boots. This time around I had done so playing frisbee. Came home to a wonderful dinner of sloppy joes so life ain't bad at all.
Really enjoying my stay here on Earth as a human.

[A flick of the thumb to create a ukulele strum]
This small action triggered a feeling amongst three souls in a dimmed, cigarette smoke filled room. Sitting in a wheelchair (for fun), I played my famous tune on the tightly strung ukulele. Sweat pants and wool sock wearing guitar player stepped forth from the marvelous, 20 dollar couch and picked up his electric. Quickly, he began to fill in the spaces of rhythm based off the 3 chords I was releasing into the open air. Thirty seconds and a burp later, the one wearing the oddly appealing bears long sleeve steps around to tap a beat of solitude. Otherwise known as the drums. After a minute of strumming my consistent beat, Wool Socks matches the harmony with his electric. Bears shirt adds jazz to the two in-tune instruments. SHAZAM. Just like that, harmony is in the air, slow dancing with the cigarette smoke. Our voices are silent, for the instruments speak volumes. A volume my heart can feel and embrace. The happening of these three instruments fitting so soothingly together had our hearts smiling for the rest of the cold November night. Until we meet again, harmony. Doors open as the light of the working world graces my pale skin.
An internship opportunity at NYCH Gallery landed in my lap by the reciprocation of the law of attraction. Enjoying life and embracing my inner ambition of art has transcended into my world when I least expected it. Through the pages of my old notebook sketches and doodles awaken, pure enthusiasm for creation radiates from within my pale human body. As a young ambitious son of a gun, I ready to work at an art gallery. Can't wait to meet the people I don't know exist. Here goes nothing. |
