Here, you witness the 3 am lighting of a saltine rock lamp and my sister (Hannah Banana) ceramic meditating man.
Hunger tossed me out of bed and into the kitchen. Half awake snacking on a banana, the essence of nirvana caught my eye. The clock ticking and the fan pulsing the room all while three people lie asleep in a contained apartment. Like catching a monarch butterfly in the heat of a midnight dream, a pleasant feeling stole my awareness. Perhaps the rods (darkness detectors) and cones (color and light detectors) within my eyes were slap happy from my out of whack sleep schedule. Regardless, I was intrigued. The pink-ish orb of light coming from the living room lured me closer:to what soon became my focus. I set my half eaten banana down and decided to capture this one of a kind sight. A minute and a banana burp later, I went back to bed.. May your day be what you accept it to be. May your day be your niche. Sincerely, The intern of NYCH Gallery
