This website began as an idea. Like many cool things in this revolving, adapting world this idea began by a conversation. Last Summer, in 2015 I was working at an advertising agency on Michigan Ave called The San Jose Group. The HR dude, Seth and I were discussing all the crazy things written in a brown leather book of mine. He mentioned making a website with all my handwritten topics into digital form. Working as The San Jose Groups front desk chick, I thought why the heck not. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. A year later, the above image creates a representation of how my website started (in paper form). I recently made this colorful creation using my business card, a to-do list, and other pieces of paper. The colors used were influenced by a good friend who recently moved to California to pursue her career in art. Side by side her and I worked on separate projects at the summer lit kitchen table. This colorful piece is the result of her and I working side by side. Thanks to the scanner in my basement, this piece of art gets to hang out in this digital party. Still figuring out the dimensions of the scanner... - Talkingstones creator
