A venture taken to Beverly Shores near Chesterton sparked a few new creations. Including, skipping stones with a foreign family and ukulele tunes. Here at the beach, I unloaded my bag of art supplies. Poured a flinch of water in my frisbee and got to water color painting. The environment of the beach spoke in a few different tunes. One being the waves, another tune came from the people around us. The family across from us off in the distance were loud and fun. Off in the distance, a kid yells "You look life a burnt chicken nugget!" This gotta chuckle outta me. SO, I took a sharpie and made this quote apart of the painting below. The sharpie used reminds me of a friend who just moved to California. Also, reminds me of an owl with a black and white nose. Abstract, that's a fact. One golden rule about creation is to move. Leave any stagnant energy behind by getting up and stretching or moving some place else.
I took a mini-paint break and walked down to the beach near the loud family. I collected about five flat-ish rocks to skip into the lake. Taking a breathe and walking into the water, I skipped the collected rocks. Not knowing anyone was watching, I hear "Wow", "Oh how cool" or something along those lines. The loud/ fun family of kids were watching and wondering how I skipped them. I smiled and laughed since my own doing for enjoyment turned into theirs as well. Walking over I showed the kids how to throw the rocks level with the water and through the air. Two or three of the kids dove under water picking up rocks to gather and throw. This entertained me. Taking a few tries and a few laughs before the curious kid got it down pat. I thanked them all for being curious and slowly floated away. Moments like these ripple enjoyment into the open air. I enjoy learning new things from people and teaching them things I know. Meeting people is an amazing beauty of life.
